Navalkol / Kohlrabi Bhaji

Allergy free Navalkol / Kohlrabi Bhaji

Ingredients –

  • Navalkol / Kohlrabi – peeled and cut into cubes – 2 cups
  • Onion – finely chopped – 1
  • Vegetable oil – 1 TBSP
  • Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Hing Powder – ¼ Tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  • Red chili powder – 1 Tsp
  • Goda Masala – 1 TBSP
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 2 TBSP

Method –

  1. Heat a pan / kadai on medium heat. Add oil. Once hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , and hing powder. Add onion and saute till they turn translucent.
  2. Add turmeric powder , red chili powder , goda masala , salt to taste . Mix well . Add cut navalkol/kohlrabi and mix. Add 1-2 TBSP water . Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes , till the veggies are cooked.
  3. Serve hot with roti or rice.
