  1.  Gavar / Cluster beans – chopped – 2 cups
  2.  Potato – cubed – ½ cup
  3.  Onion – finely chopped – 1
  4.  Black mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
  5.  cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
  6.  Hing powder – 1/4 Tsp
  7. Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  8.  Red Chilli powder – 1 Tsp
  9.  Goda Masala or Garam Masala – 1 TBSP
  10.  Vegetable Oil – 1 TBSP
  11.  Salt to taste.
  12.  Jaggery – ½ Tsp
  13.  Water – ½ cup
  14.  Freshly grated coconut – ¼ cup
  15.  Freshly chopped cilantro for garnishing.

 How To Make Gavar Batata Bhaji Recipe Step By Step Instruction 

  1.  Heat a Pan on medium flame. Once hot add oil.
  2.  Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add cumin seeds and hing powder.
  3.  Add Onions and saute till they turn translucent.
  4.  Add gavar and potato and mix well.
  5.  Add turmeric powder , chili powder, goda or garam masala, salt to taste. Mix well and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add 2-3 TBSP water. Cover and let it cook till veggies are cooked. Add freshly grated coconut and mix well.
  7.  Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and serve hot with roti or rice.
