  • casein
  • soy
  • egg
  • sesame
  • fish
  • shellfish

Ingredients For Vegan Bhajani Chakali

  1. Chakali Bhajani flour – 2 cups
  2. Water – Hot – 2 cups
  3. Sesame seeds – 1 TBSP ( Optional)
  4. Red Chilli powder – 1 TBSP
  5. Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  6. Oil – Hot – ¼ cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil for deep frying.

Method –

  1. In a pot add bhajani flour , turmeric powder , red chili powder , sesame seeds and salt to taste. Mix well. Add hot oil and mix well. Rub the flour carefully till the flour holds shape.
  2. Add hot water little at a time and knead into a dough. Cover and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Knead the dough again , add hot water if necessary and knead a chapati dough. Add it to the chakli maker and make the chakali in the desired shape.
  4. Deep fry chakalis till it gets a light brown color from both sides.
