Aloo-Gobi Masala / Cauliflower – Potato Curry

  • casein
  • soy
  • egg
  • sesame
  • fish
  • shellfish

Ingredients –

  1.  Cauliflower – 1 – chopped in cubes
  2.  Potato – peeled and cut in cubes – 2
  3.  Onion – finely chopped – 1
  4.  black mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
  5.  cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
  6.  Hing powder – 1/4 Tsp
  7.  Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  8.  Red Chilli powder – 1 Tsp
  9. Mix masala / Sabji masala – 1 Tsp
  10.  Vegetable Oil – 1 TBSP
  11.  Salt to taste.
  12.  Cilantro finely chopped for garnishing.


  1.  Heat a Pan on medium flame. Once hot add oil.
  2.  Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds. Once they splutter , add the cumin seeds and hing powder.
  3.  Add Onions and saute till they turn translucent.
  4.  Add cut cauliflower and potatoes. Mix well.
  5.  Add turmeric powder , chilli powder, mix masala , salt to taste. Mix well and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
  6.  Add water to adjust consistency. Cover and let it cook till veggies get cooked.
  7.  Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and serve hot with roti or rice.
