Vegan Ragi Ladoo Recipe

Ragi- Known as finger millet in english one of India’s super food. High in calcium and fibre. Keeps you full for a longer time. . Usually included in diet in summers as it helps your body cool down.

This Recipe is free from :

  • Wheat
  • Peanuts
  • tree nuts
  • dairy
  • casein
  • soy
  • egg
  • sesame
  • fish
  • shellfish


  1. Ragi flour – 1 and ½ cups
  2. Powdered sugar – 1 cups.
  3. vegetable oil – ½ cup
  4. cardamom powder – 1 Tsp
  5. raisins – 1 TBSP

Method –

  1. To wok add vegetable oil. Warm it up.
  2.  Add Ragi flour. Saute on low flame till it turns golden brown and releases nutty flavor.
  3.  Let the mixture cool down. Once warm add sugar , cardamom powder , raisins. Mix well. If you feel the mixture is too dry add 1 TBSP non-dairy milk.
  4.  Make into small or medium size balls . Optionally garnish with your choice almonds or raisins .
