Ingredients: For the vegan apple jam recipe

  1. Apples – 5 -6 big ones
  2. cinnamon stick – 1/2 inch
  3. water – 1 cup
  4. Sugar – 1 cup
  5. salt pinch
  6. lemon juice (optional)

How to make vegan homemade apple jam recipe Step-by-Step Instructions

  1.  Wash , peel and cut apples in small cubes.
  2.  In a saucepan add apples , water and cinnamon stick.
  3.  Keep to boil on medium flame till apples are fully cooked and mushy.
  4.  Strain water using sieve.
  5.  Using same sieve , make apple puree by straining apples using a spoon.
  6.  Add the apple puree , sugar, salt to a pan.
  7.  Cook the mixture till it attains jam like consistency.
  8.  Optionally add a half lemon juice and mix well.
