- Asafoetida – 1/4 Tsp

Method For Preparing Veg Pulav
- Heat oil in a pot or instapot. Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
- Add vegetables of your choice and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, shahi biryani masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add rice and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add water and mix well.
- In the Instapot, cancel the sauté mode and set the pressure cooker mode on high for 6 minutes with the vent closed. If using a pressure cooker, cook for 3 whistles.
- Let the steam rest for 10 minutes and then release the pressure.
