Sabudana Kheer / Tapioca Pearls Porridge

Ingredients - 

 

  1. Sabudana/Tapioca Pearls  - ¼ cup

  2. Non -Dairy milk - 3 cups

  3. Sugar - ½ cup

  4. Saffron - 1 Tsp - mixed in 1 TBSP milk

  5. Charoli -  1 TBSP

  6. Salt -  pinch

Method - 

 

  1. Soaking Sabudana - Wash sabudana 2-3 times with water. Soak it in 1  cup hot milk for 45 minutes.

  2. Kheer - In a pan boil 2 cups of non dairy milk. Once boiling ,  add soaked sabudana along with the milk. Mix well. Cook it on low flame for 10-12 minutes or till sabudana is completely cooked. Add saffron , sugar  , charoli , pinch of salt and mix well. Cook on low flame for another 3-4 minutes.
