Ingredients For Vegan Cabbage Paratha Recipe
- Cabbage / Kobi - grated - 1 cup
- Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
- Cooking oil - 2 TBSP
- Coriander cumin powder - 1 TBSP
- Turmeric powder - 1 TSP
- Red Chilli powder - 1 TSP
- Sesame seeds - 1 TBSP -optional
- Besan - 1/4 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup - as needed
- Salt to taste
How To Make Vegan Cabbage Paratha Recipe
For the dough:
- Mix grated cabbage, turmeric powder, chili powder, sesame seeds, coriander-cumin seed powder, salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix well, cover, and set aside for 15-20 minutes. Add 1 cup of wheat flour and besan, then mix thoroughly. Gradually add a little water and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Coat it with 1 teaspoon of oil, cover, and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.
For the Paratha:
- Take a lemon size ball of dough. Roll it into a circle of around 8 inches diameter.
- Dry roast the paratha on a griddle/skillet/non-stick pan on medium heat.
- Then flip and apply little oil or butter on both sides, and cook till both sides are golden brown .
- Serve hot with chutney or roll and pack for lunch box.
