Ingredients
Ingredients of Vegan cake Mix (Vanilla)
- All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
- Baking powder - 1 TSP
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Vegetable oil - cup
- Almond or non dairy milk - 1/2 cup
- Apple sauce - cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 TSP
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 TSP
- Tutty-frutty - 1 TBSP
Method
Method of Vegan Cake Sponge

Take 6 inch bundt pan or one that fits in your insta pot. Grease it with vegetable oil and leave.

Mix the dry ingredients all purpose flour , baking powder . Sieve them through a sieve to make sure there are no lumps.

Mix the wet ingredients apple sauce , sugar , vegetable oil , almond or non dairy milk . blend them together using a hand blender.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and again blend with hand blender for just a minute or so , just to make sure there are no lumps. Do not over blend or else the cake gets less softer.

Add vanilla essence and mix well.

In the end add apple cider vinegar and just blend it for one round.

Add tutty-frutty and mix well.

Pour the mixture into greased cake pan. Tap gently to make sure there are no air bubbles and mixture is even.

Cover the pan with aluminium foil and seal it to the edges.

In the Instapot insert the trivet . Fill in water just to make sure it touches the bottom edge of the trivet.

Place the cake pan on trivet. Close the lid and steam to sealing.

Start the cake mode. Cook for 40 minutes.

Let the steam release naturally. Remove the cake pan . Let it cool down for a minute. Remove the aluminium foil.

Reverse the cake pan on a plate and remove from the pan . Enjoy the Vanilla tutti-frutti cake.
