Ingredients -

 

  1. Potato - boiled - peeled and cubed - 3-4 

  2. Tomato - finely chopped - 2

  3. Vegetable oil -1 TBSP

  4. Jeera / Cumin  Seeds - 1 Tsp

  5. Hing - ¼ Tsp

  6. Ginger - finely chopped - 1 Tsp

  7. Green chilies - finely chopped - 3-4

  8. Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp

  9. Red chili powder - 1 Tsp

  10. Coriander - cumin seeds powder - 1 Tsp

  11. Water - 2 cups

  12. Salt to taste

Method - 

 

  1. Heat a Pan on medium flame. Once hot add oil.Add  add cumin seeds and hing powder. Add finely cut ginger and green chilies. Saute for a minute.

  2. Add turmeric powder ,  red chili powder , coriander-cumin seeds powder and mix well. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.

  3. Add finely chopped tomatoes and salt  to taste. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes till the tomatoes become mushy.

  4. Add boiled potatoes and mix well. Add water to adjust consistency. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and serve hot with Puri’s.
