Ingredients - 

 For Naan -

  1. Rava / Suji - Fine  -  2 cups

  2. Water - warm -  1  cup

  3. Sugar - 1 Tsp

  4. Yeast -  1  Tsp

  5. Salt -   ½ Tsp

  6. Spinach Puree - ¼ cup 

  7. Olive oil - 3 TSP

For Pizza - 

  1. Pizza sauce / Marinara sauce of your choice

  2. Vegan cheese of your choice.

  3. Toppings of your choice - bell peppers , onions , corns 

  4. Tofu - cubed - 1 cup

  5. Red chili powder - ½ Tsp

  6. Coriander powder - ½ Tsp

  7. Cumin powder - ½ Tsp

  8. Amchur powder - ½ Tsp

  9. Salt to taste.

Method for Naan - 

  1.  In a bowl add 1  cup warm water,  sugar and yeast. Mix well . Keep aside for 10 minutes. 

  2. Get the fine rava or suji in a blender jar and pulse for 3-4 times to get a fine texture. If you do not get fine rava, then you can get any rava and just pulse it in fine powder.

  3. Add all rava, salt and spinach puree  to the yeast mixture. Knead for at least 10 minutes. Till you get a nice soft dough.

  4. Add 3 Tsp olive oil and again knead for 5 minutes. Cover and rest the dough for at least an hour.

  5. Dough raises almost double its size. Knead again. Divide the dough into lemon shaped balls of equal size.

  6. Take a dough ball ,  roll it into an oblong shape. Preheat the oven to 375 deg Fahrenheit . Cook the naanza for 10 minutes.

  7. Your Nanza or Pizza base is ready. You can save this base in an airtight container for 2-3 days.

Method for Nanza - 

  1. In a bowl add cubed tofu , red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, Amchur powder and salt to taste. Mix well , making sure all tofu pieces are coated well. Keep aside for later use.

  2. Take a nanza, apply marinara sauce to it. Top it with a generous serving of vegan cheese of your choice.  Add the toppings of your choice and marinated  tofu.

  3. Preheat the oven to 375 deg Fahrenheit . Cook the naan for 10 minutes . 

  4. Enjoy the delicious vegan Nanza!!!

Notes -

  1. You can make mini nanza and serve them as a party appetizer. While making it for Party, make the base a day before and save them in an airtight container and bake fresh nanza just before serving.

  2. For base, you can be creative and use different flavorings like mix herb, roasted garlic etc. 

  3. For Gluten free version, you can substitute rava/suji with gluten-free flour.
