Palak Sev

Ingredients 

 

  1. Spinach leaves - 1 cup

  2. Besan / Gram flour - 3 cups

  3. Ajwain / carom seeds - 2 Tsp

  4. Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp

  5. Red Chili powder - 1 Tsp

  6. Coriander  seeds powder - 1 Tsp

  7. Cumin seeds powder - 1 Tsp

  8. Hing powder - ¼ Tsp 

  9. Salt to taste

  10. Vegetable oil for deep frying.

Method - 

 

 

  1. In a grinder add ajwain , spinach leaves and grind into a smooth paste.

  2. In a bowl add spinach paste , turmeric powder , red chili powder ,  coriander cumin seeds powder , salt to taste. Mix well. 

  3. Add besan a little at a time and  knead into a sticky dough.

  4. In a kadai , heat the oil on medium flame . Once oil is hot. Using a sev maker , shape the dough in thin noodle shape and deep fry till golden brown .
