Masala Pav

Ingredients - 

 

  1. Onions - finely chopped - 1

  2. Tomatoes - finely chopped - 1

  3. Capsicum - finely chopped - ½ cup 

  4. ginger garlic paste - 1 TBSP

  5. turmeric - 1 Tsp

  6. Red chilli powder -  1 Tsp

  7. Pav bhaji masala -  1 Tsp

  8. Vegetable Oil - 1 TBSP

  9. Lemon juice - 1 Tsp

  10. Salt to taste

  11. Vegan Butter

  12. Finely chopped cilantro

Methods -

 

  1. In a pan  and heat it up. Add cut onions and saute till the onions are translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute or 2. Add cut capsicum and mix well. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add cut tomatoes. Add a pinch of salt and saute till tomatoes are nice and mushy.

  3. Add turmeric powder , red chilli powder ,  pav bhaji masala and adjust salt to taste. Mix well. Add 1-2 TBSP water and saute for another couple of minutes. Add lemon juice and mix well.

  4. In a pan add vegan butter or vegetable oil , ½ Tsp pav bhaji masala , finely cut cilantro and mix well. Place the pav on butter and toast them lightly from both sides. Place the 1-2 Tsp masala on the pav. Add finely chopped onions. Serve Hot.
