Gluten Free Muli Paratha /
Makke ki Roti
This Recipe is free from :
Mooli / Diacon - grated - ¼ cup
Green chilies - paste - 1 Tsp
Coriander cumin seeds powder - 1 Tsp
Finely chopped cilantro or finely chopped fresh mooli leaves - ⅓ cup
Corn flour - 1 cup
Salt to taste .
Mix the grated mooli , Salt . Cover and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
Add green chilies paste , coriander cumin powder , finely chopped cilantro and mix well. Add corn flour and knead into a soft dough. It should not need additional water to knead.
Take a butter paper and place it on a rolling board. Take a dough ball and put it on butter paper and start flattening the dough into the circle with your palm like you are making a thalipeeth. Apply some water on your palm while making roti.
Heat the griddle or pan on medium low flame. With the help of butter paper pick up the roti and place it on the griddle . Apply oil and roast on both sides till it gets nice golden brown spots .
Usually plain makki roti is served with sarson ka saag , but this masala or paratha version can be served with saag , vegan curd or vegan butter of your choice.
