 Ingredients For Vegan Cabbage Paratha Recipe

  1. Cabbage / Kobi – grated – 1 cup
  2. Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  3. Cooking oil – 2 TBSP
  4. Coriander cumin powder – 1 TBSP
  5. Turmeric powder – 1 TSP
  6. Red Chilli powder – 1 TSP
  7. Sesame seeds – 1 TBSP -optional
  8. Besan – ¼ cup
  9. Water – ½ cup – as needed
  10. Salt to taste

How To Make Vegan Cabbage Paratha Recipe

For the dough:

  1. Mix grated cabbage, turmeric powder, chili powder, sesame seeds, coriander-cumin seed powder, salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix well, cover, and set aside for 15-20 minutes. Add 1 cup of wheat flour and besan, then mix thoroughly. Gradually add a little water and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Coat it with 1 teaspoon of oil, cover, and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.

For the Paratha:

  1. Take a lemon size ball of dough. Roll it into a circle of around 8 inches diameter.
  2. Dry roast the paratha on a griddle/skillet/non-stick pan on medium heat.
  3. Then flip and apply little oil or butter on both sides, and cook till both sides are golden brown .
  4. Serve hot with chutney or roll and pack for lunch box.

Serving Suggestion:

Pair your Vegan Cabbage Parathas with vegan yogurt dip, pickles, or chutneys for added flavor. Sliced onions, lemon wedges, and a simple green salad make refreshing accompaniments. Enjoy with herbal tea or vegan lassi for a complete meal.
