Ingredients

  1. Gavar / Cluster beans  - 1 cup

  2. Green chilies - 3-4

  3. Garlic cloves - 4-5 

  4. Cilantro - ½ cup

  5. Vegetable oil - 2 Tsp

  6. Jeera - 1 Tsp

  7. Hing - ½ Tsp

  8. Curry leaves - 3-4 

  9. Sesame seeds - 1 TBSP - Optional 

  10. Salt to taste

Method - 

 

  1. 1. In a pan add 1 Tsp vegetable oil , add green chilies and garlic cloves . Saute for 2-3 minutes. Remove and keep aside . Add gavar and saute for 2-3 minutes. If you want sesame seeds and saute for a minute.

  2. Add the green chilies and garlic cloves to a mortar and pestle . Crush/grind them. Add cilantro and crush/grind  it too. 

  3. Add gavar and crush/grind it with other items.

  4. Again in the pan add oil , once hot add jeera , hing powder and curry leaves. Add gavar mixture and salt to taste. Mix well. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
