Vegan Free Bombay Toast Sandwich Recipe

These are some of my favorite sandwiches , both savory and sweet. You can make them in bulk and serve them as appetizers at a party . These are also some of my go to options for meal backups for my son , when we are outside traveling , picnicking or just play dates. For all the recipes , we are simply starting by cutting of the edges. You can leave them on if you like. For Gluten free version use the gluten free bread and they taste equally amazing.

  1. Cream cheese – Cucumber Sandwich 
  •     Vegan Cream cheese – I am using herbed , garlic version. You can have plain and just add black pepper as you like.
  •  Cucumber – sliced

  Apply generous amount of cream cheese on both the slices. Place cucumber slices on one bread and then close the sandwich with another slice. Cut into half and Enjoy!!!

  1. Chutney Sandwich
  • Sandwich Chutney
  • Vegan butter
  • Cucumber slices
  • Tomato slices.

Apply vegan butter on both the slices of bread. Generously apply chutney . On one slice of bread place the cucumber and tomato sandwiches. Close the sandwich with another slice and Enjoy!!!

  1. Jam Sandwich
  • Jam or jelly of your choice. I am using Fig butter and it tastes amazing.
  • Vegan Butter

Apply vegan butter on both slices of bread. Generously apply the jam. Close the sandwich and Enjoy!!!

  1. Sun butter – Jelly sandwich
  • Sun butter – is nothing but a nut free version of peanut butter. It is made from sunflower seeds.
  • Jam or jelly of your choice.
  • Vegan butter

Apply vegan butter on both slices. On one slice apply generous amount of sun-butter and on another apply jam of your choice. Close the sandwich and Enjoy!!!

  1. Simple Bread butter sugar sandwich

This one is for younger kids or if you are in just for simple flavors. Apply generous amount of vegan butter on both the slices. Then sprinkle generous amount of sugar on one slice. Close the sandwich and Enjoy!!!
