Vegan Besan Nachani Ladoo Recipe

This Recipe is free from :

  • Wheat
  • Peanuts
  • tree nuts
  • dairy
  • casein
  • soy
  • egg
  • sesame
  • fish
  • shellfish


  1. Besan / Chickpea flour – 1 cup
  2. Nachni / Ragi flour – ½ cup
  3. Powdered sugar – 1 and ½ cup
  4. Vegetable oil – ½ cup
  5. Cardamom powder – 1 Tsp
  6. Raisins – 1 TBSP


  1. To a wok add vegetable oil. Warm it up.
  2. Add besan / chickpea flour. Saute on low flame till it turns golden brown and releases nutty flavor.
  3.  Let the mixture cool down. Once warm add sugar , cardamom powder , raisins. Mix well.
  4. Make into small or medium size balls . Optionally garnish with your choice almond or cashew nut .
