Allergy Free Aloo Trio dishes Recipe

  • Wheat
  • Peanuts
  • tree nuts
  • dairy
  • casein
  • soy
  • egg
  • sesame
  • fish
  • shellfish

Ingredients for Jeera Aloo –

  1. Potato – boiled and cut into pieces – 2
  2. Vegetable oil – 1 TBSP
  3. Jeera / cumin seeds – 2 Tsp
  4. Hing – 1 Tsp
  5. Whole red chilies – 2-3
  6. Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  7. Red chili powder – 1 Tsp
  8. Salt to taste.

Method – Jeera Aloo

  1. In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Once hot , add jeera , hing and whole red chilies. Give a quick stir.
  2. Add boiled potatoes and mix well. Add turmeric powder , chili powder , salt to taste and mix well. Simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Ingredients for Aloo Capsicum –

  1. Potato – boiled and cut into pieces – 2
  2. Capsicum – cut in cubes – 1
  3. Tomato – cut in cubes – 1
  4. Onion – cut in cubes -1
  5. Vegetable oil – 1 TBSP
  6. Mohri / Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
  7. Jeera / cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
  8. Hing – 1 Tsp
  9. Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  10. Red chili powder – 1 Tsp
  11. Coriander seeds powder – 1 Tsp
  12. Cumin seeds powder – ½ Tsp
  13. Salt to taste.

Method – Aloo Capsicum

  1. In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Once hot , add mustard seeds , jeera , hing. Add onion and saute till they turn translucent.
  2. Add capsicum and stir. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add boiled potatoes and mix well. Add turmeric powder , chili powder , coriander seeds powder , cumin seeds powder , salt to taste and mix well.
  4. Add cut potatoes and mix well. Simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes.

Ingredients for Aloo Palak –

  1. Potato – boiled and cut into pieces – 2
  2. Spinach – finely chopped – 1 cup
  3. Tomato – cut in cubes – 1
  4. Onion – cut in cubes -1
  5. Garlic – finely chopped – 2-3 cloves
  6. Vegetable oil – 1 TBSP
  7. Jeera / cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
  8. Hing – 1 Tsp
  9. Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  10. Red chili powder – 1 Tsp
  11. Salt to taste.

Method – Aloo Palak

  1. In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Once hot , add jeera , hing. Add onion and saute till they turn translucent. Add tomatoes and salt to taste. Saute till they turn mushy.
  2. Add spinach and boiled potato mix well .
  3. Add turmeric powder , chili powder , and mix well.
  4. Simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
